The Forward City Internship is a six-month immersive experience designed to passionately disciple, develop, and deploy the next generation of leaders through spiritual formation, ministry experience, and leadership development.

This program exists to create an environment where young adults are formed in the way of Jesus, equipped to Engage Culture, and activated to serve wherever God leads them.

At Forward City, we believe people move forward with God when they learn to SIT with Him, SERVE His house, and are SENT confidently in their calling. This is Revival.

  • SIT

    Spiritual Formation

    Before God does something through us, He desires to do something in us.

    This pillar focuses on interns' relationship with Jesus.


  • SERVE

    Ministry Practicum & Leadership Development

    The local church is one of God's primary tools for transformation.

    Interns gain hands-on ministry experience while learning how to steward responsibility, influence, and leadership.

  • SEND

    Calling & Commission

    The goal of the internship is not simply participation.

    The goal is activation.

    This pillar helps interns discover how God has uniquely designed them and equips them to live on mission wherever He sends them.
